Welcome to the Chesco Marshall County Project!
This project involves the development of a simple cycle gas turbine power plant designed to provide reliable energy to the region. Operations will be intermittent, so these projects are sometimes referred to as "peaker" projects because they serve the peak load of the power grid. The project will be a minimum size of 700 megawatts and is being planned and built with a strong focus on safety, environmental responsibility, and community awareness. The project is designed, constructed, and operated in accordance with all applicable regulations and industry standards. We also take steps to reduce environmental impact, including monitoring emissions, protecting local resources, and following environmental guidelines. The Marshall County Project will contribute to energy reliability and also support local economic activity.
