Reed Wills, Chief Executive Officer
Reed founded Chesco Energy in 2024 with a vision of meeting the rapidly growing demand for power in the MidAtlantic region. He brings more than 35 years of experience in the independent power industry, with deep expertise in project development, acquisitions, and project finance. He has led multiple independent power teams developing various energy technologies. At his prior position Reed was Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of SunEast Development, which developed over 800 MW of solar projects that are in late-stage development, construction or operating.
Reed previously served in senior leadership roles at Duke Energy Renewables and NRG, managing teams responsible for the full lifecycle of renewable and thermal energy projects, from development and financing to operations. He led the financing and development of six industrial combined heat and power projects totaling 500 MW, led the acquisition of 1,000 MW of utility power plants from Delmarva Power and 1,600 MW of assets from Southern California Edison.
David Ross, Chief Development Officer
With more than 30 years in the independent power industry, Dave offers extensive expertise in market strategy, project finance, development, and interconnection. Prior to joining Chesco Energy Dave served as an officer of SunEast Development managing solar project design and interconnection.
Before joining SunEast, he was Manager of Business Development at Exelon, where he spearheaded utility-scale generation projects, drove corporate acquisitions, and served on the Board of Directors for FutureGen. Additionally, he was significantly involved with utility acquisitions by NRG Energy and Sithe Energy, playing a key role in acquiring more than 7,000 MW of power projects across the Northeastern United States.
Anthony Cirillo, Senior Vice President
Anthony leverages over 35 years of expertise in project development, engineering, procurement and construction within the electric power sector. His work included multiple fuel technologies, both conventional fuels as well as renewables.
Prior to joining Chesco Energy Anthony served in senior management roles at SunEast Development and prominent EPC firms, including AECOM legacy companies Washington Group International, United Engineers & Constructors, and Ebasco. He has driven the successful development and execution of independent power and utility projects exceeding $2.5 billion in total value.
He is a licensed professional engineer in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Michigan, Rhode Island, Florida, and Maryland.
