Who We Are
Chesco Energy is a privately held company committed to supporting the pressing need for new electric power supplies to support a growing U.S. economy. Our natural gas-fired facilities are based on combustion turbine technology that has the flexibility to start on short notice and operate under varied weather conditions. By utilizing advanced combustion and post-combustion technology, we are able to meet today's strict air quality standards while providing operational flexibility to the management of the high voltage power transmission grid.

Our team brings decades of experience, technical expertise, and adaptability to advance energy project development nationwide. Our team has extensive experience developing, acquiring, constructing and managing natural gas-fired generation. With experience at leading design/build construction firms, our team has managed development, construction and operation of multiple simple cycle and combined cycle natural gas facilities. ​​

Utility-scale natural gas-fired facilities are large-scale infrastructure projects. Our team has successfully secured financing for power projects using a variety of financing mechanisms. Our team focuses on providing high quality project management services that includes strategic assessment of markets, project development, community engagement, natural gas and power contracting, as well as engineering and construction support. We employ a comprehensive risk management approach to development rooted in our extensive experience with non-recourse energy project financing.
Chesco Energy has begun a comprehensive natural gas fired project development program in the MidAtlantic and Mid-Western regions. We look forward to working with investors and strategic partners to execute these projects and bring new generation to the power grid at a time of significant need.
